Itinerary


 Days 1 - 5 KENYA - TANZANIA

Depart Nairobi, across the Athi plains driving through to our camp in Arusha. Departure meeting.
With evening celebratory barbecue on our return from the game parks.

Optionals: Afternoon and morning game drives in the Serengeti National Park, afternoon drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation area, morning game drives in Ngorongoro Crater, a visit in a Maasai village.


 Days 5 - 11 TANZANIA including 4 nights allotted for Zanzibar Island....

Two days scenic drive to Dar es Salaam on the coast, with the chance of views of Kilimanjaro en route. Seafood barbecue on arrival at our camp by the Indian Ocean, and final preparations for the stay on Zanzibar Island.

Free time to allow for an optional four night stay on Zanzibar Island from day 7, returning to Dar es Salaam on day 11.
Talk with us as to the special arrangements we can make for your stay on Zanzibar. We reserve accommodation in popular beach cottages and in a lodge within ancient Stone Town, as well as your other requirements including the ferry bookings, transfers and spice tours.
Other options to budget for include snorkelling and scuba diving on Zanzibar sweeping coral reefs, to Prison Island famous for its giant tortoise population and to Jozani Forest to see the red colobus monkeys.
All accommodation and transfers including a spice tour on Zanzibar Island can be arranged ahead of time.


 Days 12 - 13 TANZANIA - MALAWI

Drive through Mikumi National Park to camp at Iringa. Enter Malawi to camp by Lake Malawi at Chitimba.


 Days 14 - 16 MALAWI

Three more nights by Lake Malawi camping at simple beach resorts, visiting fishing villages and curio markets.

Optionals: Water sports, horse riding, school visit, a village meal and dancing.


 Days 17 - 18 ZAMBIA

Cross the Luangwa River en route to Lusaka.


 Days 19 - 21 ZIMBABWE

Into the Zambezi Valley to relax by Lake Kariba.

Optional:A houseboat cruise on the Lake visiting Matusadona and including a game cruise and fishing.


 Days 22 - 24

Antelope Park, a private game reserve.

Optionals: Lion walks, cub interaction, horse rides, carriage rides.


 Day 25-26

Into Bulawayo, to visit Matopos National Park for a rhino trek and game drives.

Optional: Extra game drives.


 Days 27 - 30

Four night stay at Victoria Falls.

Optionals: Rhino trek, lion walks, horse rides, white water rafting, bungee jump, gorge swing, 'Flight of the Angels' in microlights and helicopters, township tour, sunset cruise and many other activities at the Falls.


 Days 31 - 35 BOTSWANA

Kasane, Maun.

Optionals: Chobe National Park, game drive and cruise, Okavango Delta guided mokoro safari, Moremi Game Reserve, flight over the Delta.


 Days 36 - 40 NAMIBIA

Caprivi Strip, morning and afternoon game drives in Etosha National Park, The Cheetah Park, Spitzkoppe or similar camp.

Optionals: Hoba meteorite, Evening game drives in Etosha, Himba village visit, Visit with traditional Bushmen, Bushman rock paintings.


 Days 41 - 46 Cape Cross Seal Colony, Three to four night lodge stay in Swakopmund, Sossusvlei, Namib Naukluft National Park.


Optionals: Tandem sky diving, Sandboarding, Quad-biking, Township tour, Open sea fishing, Dolphin cruise with brunch, Go-karting, Horse riding. Guided walk on the dunes.


 Days 47 - 48 NAMIBIA - SOUTH AFRICA

Fish River Canyon, Ai Ais, Orange River.

Optionals: Rafting on the Orange River.


 Days 49 - 52 SOUTH AFRICA

Stellenbosch, Cape Town.
