Itinerary


 Day 1

Titans VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home, for your journey to London Heathrow or Gatwick Airport for a British Airways flight to Milan. Meet your Uniworld representative on arrival and transfer to the Starhotels Rosa Grand Milan (5T) for two nights.


 Day 2

Milan, known the world over for its high-end fashion and dazzling bounty of artistic landmarks, provides the perfect starting point for your Italian adventure. Admire the grand Gothic Duomo in the heart of the city centre and then come face-to-face with Leonardo da Vincis magnificent fresco, The Last Supper, housed at the Santa Maria delle Grazie convent.


 Day 3

En route to Venice, stop in Verona - home to Shakespeares star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet. From Verona, journey on to an exclusive wine tasting and multicourse lunch at the Serego Alighieri estate, belonging to descendants of Dante Alighieri, one of Italys most famous poets. Once in magical Venice, board the River Countess (5T) where youll begin your exploration of the Queen of the Adriatic.


 Day 4

Wind through Venices labyrinthine back lanes as you get an up-close view of the city. Cap the day off with an exclusive once-in-a-lifetime experience at an after-hours lighting ceremony inside St Marks Basilica without the crowds. Return to the ship for a Captains Welcome Reception and gala dinner. Please note: It is not always possible to arrange after-hours visits to St Marks Basilica and if religious functions or festivities are taking place in the evening, we will visit during regular hours.


 Day 5

Admire magnificent views of Venice and the Grand Canal as your ship departs the Floating City and cruises the lagoon to Chioggia. Explore this charming fishing village, often referred to as Little Venice, on a walking discovery tour. For a more active day, cycle along Chioggia's scenic Adriatic Sea beachfront.


 Day 6

Bologna is a food lovers paradise with unmatched speciality food stores and halls featuring locally made mortadella, tortellini, balsamic vinegar, Parma ham and Parmesan cheese. Participate in a pasta-making workshop and then enjoy lunch at one of Bolognas most celebrated restaurants. For lovers of art, spend a half day in Ferrara, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with a long history of art founded on the sponsorship of the noble Renaissance family of dEste.


 Day 7

Theres no better place to indulge in Italys famed frutti di mare than Chioggia, a colourful fishing village on the Venice Lagoon. Stroll through the towns bustling fish market with a guide.


 Day 8

Spend the day exploring the Venice Lagoon and three of its entrancing islands. Stroll through Burano with its rainbow of colourful homes, and visit a lace-making atelier. While on Mazzorbo, be treated to a very special wine tasting from a salt-water-tolerant heirloom grape, Dorona. Before heading back to Venice, visit Torcello, home to spectacular Byzantine mosaics depicting the Last Judgment in the 7th century Cathedral of Santa Maria DellAssunta.


 Day 9

Get a feel for daily life in Venice with a guided stroll through the bustling Rialto Market, or tour the renowned Accademia Gallery with an art historian. Celebrate your last night on board at the Captains Farewell Reception and Gala Dinner.


 Day 10

Transfer to the airport for a British Airways flight to London Heathrow or Gatwick. On arrival you will be met and guided to your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
