With just eight cabins (six suites and two suites with balcony) the African Dream river cruiser offers stylish and spacious accommodation. There is a panoramic lounge bar restaurant and a large observation deck allowing guests complete immersion in the surrounding nature. The spacious rooftop area allows for recreation and relaxation.

 Day 1: Johannesburg

Meet up at your 4* hotel at the end of the morning and depart by coach towards Soweto, which came to the world's attention in 1976 with the Soweto Uprising, when mass protests erupted over the government's policy to enforce education in the Afrikaans language rather than English. All eleven of South Africa's official languages are spoken here. It is a community of extremes, of abject poverty and extraordinary wealth in the suburbs such as Diepkloof Extension and Selection Park. Enjoy lunch before setting out on a panoramic tour to discover the Freedom Park and the unique atmosphere in this well-known neighborhood. Enjoy dinner and spend the night at a four-star hotel.

Here you may enjoy unique, up-close experiences with the wildlife that lives on the banks from just a few yards away. Dinner and night on board the African Dream.
